About Me
After feeling exhausted from the constant pressures of life, I recall saying to the Lord, "I have dealt with situations like this the same way all my life. Why?" This was asked in desperation. It was then that He graciously began to show me how I had tried to live life coping from my own resources and strategies to get through the day.
I was already a Christian, but it was then that He led me on a journey to come to understand Christ as my Life. A life of frustration and conflict is not what He had for me, but one of freedom and abundance and rest. The new identity that He gave to me at the moment of salvation is empowered by His Spirit in me. Now that I have come to understand that I am His beloved daughter, I recognize I have the treasure of His Life in me. I now get to be a vessel He expresses His Life in and through to share His life with others.
My desire is to lead others to understand the meaning of "not I but Christ." (Galatians 2:20). Conversation over a great cup of coffee is my favorite way of connecting with others. Distance walking is my choice of exercise on a scenic trail, through the neighborhood or on my treadmill. Time with family is a gift and a treasured one!
