About Me
Have you ever asked, “Why me, God?” Perhaps you’re weighed down by anxiety, depression, guilt, shame, disappointment, or loss. Maybe you’ve tried praying or "serving" your way out of darkness and felt hopeless. Know this: you are not alone—there is hope.
I’ve walked through those same struggles—challenges, disappointments, anxiety, depression, and burnout after nearly 30 years in ministry. I came to Christ in high school, attended Bible school and seminary, felt called to missions in South America (where I met my wife of 37 years), and we raised three daughters and now enjoy two grandchildren.
In my zeal to serve, I suddenly found myself suffering exhaustion, with depression, acute anxiety, and a strained marriage, a friend introduced me to Grace Ministries (a division of Freedom Path Counseling). Through Scripture, and counseling, I discovered I am fully loved and accepted by God apart from my performance—what freedom!
God graciously brought healing and restoration to me, igniting a passion to help others find the same. I’ve served as a Christian counselor at Grace Ministries for over 17 years. I’m an ordained minister, Certified Discipleship Counselor (Network 220), and Certified Christian Trauma Care Provider (CCTCP). In addition, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Abilene Christian University and a Master of Theology from
Dallas Theological Seminary.
If you’re facing anxiety, depression, marriage struggles, grief, or loss, God loves you deeply, and His plans are good. I’d be honored to walk with you toward freedom, healing, and His abundant love.
