About Me

Have you ever wondered why you revert to your 12-year-old self when you visit home? Or why certain people or situations leave you feeling unexpectedly triggered or reactive?

Imagine having a deeper understanding of what’s happening beneath the surface—and the clarity to stay grounded in your values, no matter the circumstances. I’ve spent my life exploring these dynamics and helping people not only understand themselves more fully, but live in ways that feel authentic, aligned, and true. This is the freedom God is offering to us.

My background includes many years in church leadership, along with formal training that includes a multi-year Pastoral Counseling program and internship. These – along with my own journey of faith, personal pain and life challenges – have shaped my ability to support individuals facing stresses of all kinds. I bring both professional training and lived experience to the counseling space, offering grace filled, compassionate listening and meeting people where they are to create a supportive
space for healing, clarity and growth. Together, we focus on practical, integrative work that supports true understanding and real transformation.

I have been married to my husband, Ron for 36 years and our family includes 3 grown children, 2 sons-in-laws and 1 grandbaby on the way. I was a Professor at a Christian College for 6 years and have been on Church staff and leadership for 30 years. Throughout this time, I have learned that many church settings, while supportive, often lack the time, space and resources needed to go deeper into the personal challenges and concerns of its members in an understanding and transformative
way.

I am passionate about walking with clients through the pain and confusion of life to find healing and hope, and to ultimately see the path to walking free.

Galatians 5:1 - “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.”
John 8:36 - “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
