About the Group
Our Trauma Recovery Group is a safe and supportive community designed for individuals seeking healing from the deep wounds of abuse, neglect, or other painful life experiences. Grounded in The Strategic Trauma and Abuse Recovery System (STARS) and guided by the powerful book Break Every Stinking Chain by Denice Colson, this group offers a step-by-step pathway to break free from the chains of trauma and step into a life of renewed strength, identity, and hope.

Group Details: Phase 1
📖 Curriculum: Break Every Stinking Chain Book and Workbook by Denice Colson, Ph.D
📅 Format: Weekly in-person sessions beginning January 2026 (group breaks for Thanksgiving & Christmas)
⏰ Duration: Tuesday evenings 7:00-8:30pm for 8 weeks
👥 Group Size: Small, confidential, and supportive environment; 3-6 participants; separate male and female groups
💲 Total cost for 8-week program is $395.00 and includes both the Break Every Stinking Chain Book & Wookbook

Meet the Facilitator: Pam Ferron, MA, BCPC
Pam understands that issues like depression, anxiety, and anger often trace back to unresolved trauma or loss. She takes a trauma-informed, Christian-integrated approach that addresses the root of pain rather than just the symptoms—bringing together faith, psychology, and brain science to support true healing.
Pam holds a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Luther Rice Seminary and has experience in mental health as an Activity Therapist. She has completed advanced training in Trauma-Informed Soul Care through BDA Ministries, is trained in the Exchanged Life Model, and is mentored in Life Model Works, which focuses on building emotional and spiritual maturity.
Her own journey of walking through trauma and finding restoration fuels her passion to help others experience freedom, healing, and renewed hope.
