Struggling Adults: We understand the unique issues adults experience in relation to navigating life and faith. From habits to relationships and loss to leadership, we will help you understand and experience freedom in your life.
Frustrated Teens / Adolescents: We help young people understand the truth about who they are instead of what their peers, the media, or others say about them. Through the telling of their story, they will develop healthy beliefs that can pave the way for dealing with the difficulties of adolescence.
Distant Partners: Sometimes the stress of life, parenting, finances or regrettable choices can get in the way of experiencing the beauty of healthy relationships. We work to help you restore the relationship from wherever it has been to head in a better direction.
Engaged Couples: If you're newly engaged or soon to be engaged, we offer Premarital Counseling utilizing the Prepare / Enrich Program. We will help you better connect and prepare for your new life together. You may also be eligible for a discount on your marriage license upon completion.

We’ll then provide the intake paperwork and schedule your 1st session.
At the 1st session we’ll discuss your concerns, goals, and review the counseling plan (a map of where we're going).

The Answers You Need
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
We do not accept insurance. Accepting insurance requires a psychiatric diagnosis which can remain on your permanent medical record. One of the primary benefits to not accepting insurance is the additional level of confidentiality protection.
HOW OFTEN DO SESSIONS OCCUR?
Each counseling session lasts between 45 - 60 minutes depending on individual (adult/couple or teen). Sessions are available weekly, but frequency is usually determined by the clients situation, preference, availability, and budget.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?
If an emergency occurs or you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify our office at least 24 hours in advance. There is a mandatory $35 cancelation fee if you fail to contact the office or show for an appointment.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept cash, check, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) and Health Savings Account (HSA) debit cards.
At Freedom Path, it's our desire to provide affordable counseling services to all in need, and never turn individuals away due to financial concerns. Due to the this, we have a sliding scale available on a limited basis. Please contact us for more information.
WHAT TYPE OF COUNSELING DO YOU OFFER?
Freedom Path is a Christian Counseling organization. Our counselors are have been trained in a various methodologies to express and share God's grace in a unique process that brings hope and freedom to a persons life.
In addition, we are a member organization of Network220, an international network of more than 110 churches, counseling ministries, and training ministries throughout the United States and beyond.
HOW IS YOUR ORGANIZATION DEFINED?
As a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, we operate under the Logos Global Network Ecclesiastical Association. Our Pastoral Counselors provide services under Georgia code 43-10A-7(11) as licensed clergy trained in Biblical Counseling. In addition, some of our counselors may also hold licensing through other accrediting bodies.
