About Me
The values my parents instilled in me as a child continue to shape who I am today. I was raised on the foundational truths that God loves us most, that “cleanliness is next to Godliness,” and that hard work brings reward. My mother filled our home with Scripture, poems, and gospel music. Her favorite recitations—“Once a task is first begun, never leave it ‘til it’s done. Be the task great or small; do it well or not at all,” and “I’d rather see a sermon than hear one any day”—taught us integrity, perseverance, and humility. Songs like “Jesus Is the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me” and “I Will Trust in the Lord” became the soundtrack of my spiritual formation.

My parents, my church family, and my early teachers laid the groundwork for my calling: to serve and guide others with compassion and purpose.
Family is deeply important to me. I’m the proud daughter of the late Samuel and Francine Tucker, a mother to three incredible children, one wonderful daughter-in-love, and a grandmother to five beautiful grandchildren.

Professionally, I bring over two decades of experience in the field of counseling and education. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Georgia; a Master’s and Specialist Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Fort Valley State University; and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Argosy University. I also completed my Education Leadership Certification through the University of Georgia.
I served as a high school counselor for 22 years and later as an Assistant Principal in Gwinnett County Public Schools. Prior to that, I worked as a Social Worker. One of the proudest moments in my career was being named 2017 Gwinnett County High School Counselor of the Year and 2017 Georgia School Counselor of the Year.

Helping others has always been my passion—especially walking with them as they grow physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Whether you're in a season of transition, grief, discovery, or renewal, I would be honored to walk with you on your journey toward wholeness.
