About Me

The Lord has used counseling in my own life to bring hope and healing. Growing up in a broken home with divorce, addiction, and the loss of a parent there was a lot of heartache and wounds. The wounds of my childhood affected how I viewed myself and how I related to others. However, in the Lord’s great mercy He did not leave me in my brokenness.  The truth of Psalm 147:3, “The Lord heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds”, rings true in the context of counseling.

As a counselor, my desire is to come alongside others on their journey and help them experience hope and healing in their lives. My heart is to partner with individuals as they seek to develop a healthy view of self and healthy relationships with others. I have a passion for working with adults, couples, adolescents, and families through the many difficult areas of life. It is a joy to walk alongside others as they seek to walk in the freedom of all that God has created them to be.

My husband and I have been married for 18 years; we enjoy CrossFit, traveling, and eating out. We are blessed with three beautiful children. I am a graduate of Truett McConnell University with a Master’s in Professional Counseling.  I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and addiction.
